Christina (she/her) is a dedicated Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and a Canadian Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with a rich background in mental health. She has previously contributed her expertise at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Specializing in areas such as eating disorders, OCD, anxiety, depression, women’s life transitions, relationships, grief and loss, spirituality, and yoga philosophy, Christina offers a holistic and strength-based approach to therapy. As a certified yoga instructor and former professional musician, she integrates practices like pranayama (breath control) into her sessions.
Christina’s approach is holistic, strength-based, and trauma informed. She draws from various modalities including: Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Somatic therapy (Focusing), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, RODBT, mindfulness-based practices, Family-Based Therapy, as well as art-based methods.
